What is Podiatry?
Podiatry is the diagnosis and treatment, by Podiatrists, of diseases and other disorders of the feet.
Podiatrists are trained to prevent, diagnose, treat and rehabilitate abnormal conditions of the feet.
Podiatrists aim to keep people mobile and active, help relieve pain and treat infections.
Total Podiatry Services can provide high quality Footcare assessment and treatment in the comfort of your own home.
The title of Podiatrist is protected by law and can only be used by professionals registered with the Health & Care Professions Council.
Our Service
We aim to set the standard when it comes to professional care for your feet. To achieve this,
we work with patients to develop bespoke care plans to address issues specific to them.
What sets us apart is that each consultation follows a five step process: examination, diagnosis,
treatment, education and follow up. This enables us to track and adapt personal care plans effectively.
Your feet are an essential part of almost everything you do, therefore,
knowing how to care for them is important.
When your feet don't get the attention they need, chronic problems
can develop, which may trouble you for years to come. There are some situations when caring for your
feet on your own is not advised, which is why we're here to help.
Where we Cover
Our practice is geographically based on the needs of our patients;
we only operate in the locality where we can be sure to be with our patients in an acceptable time frame.
With this in mind, our working area includes Parbold, Westhoughton, Over Hulton and surrounding areas of Bolton.
